Westland University, Iwo, has recently achieved a significant milestone by obtaining its full operational constitutional license from the National Universities Commission (NUC). This accomplishment follows the university’s provisional accreditation in 2019.The accreditation process involved a comprehensive evaluation by a team from the NUC, which included members of the Consultancy Services Unit and the Directorate of Inspection and Monitoring. Their assessment focused on the university’s facilities, academic programs, and overall readiness to deliver quality education.

In addition to this achievement, the management team of Westland University paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume. During this visit, Senator Akume commended the strides made by Westland University and acknowledged its contributions to the academic sector.
