Professor Abimbola Adebisi Baale is a distinguished scholar, visionary administrator, and passionate advocate for technology-driven education. She holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where she rose through the ranks to become Professor of Computer Science. Her research focuses on Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Soft Computing, and ICT Applications in Education, areas that align perfectly with Westland University’s mission to deliver future-ready education. With over 16 years of experience in teaching, research, and leadership, Professor Baale has served as Head of Department, Deputy Dean, and Director of ICT Centres, combining academic excellence with strategic institutional development. Professor Baale is a Fellow of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), a registered member of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Nigeria Women in IT (NIWIIT). She has published extensively in local and international journals and worked on international collaborations including British Council-sponsored projects on youth employability and climate literacy.
