Westland University, Iwo, had the distinguished honour of receiving His Royal Majesty, the Oluwo of Iwo, on a special visit to our campus.

During the visit, His Majesty toured the University’s facilities and expressed deep admiration for the ongoing construction of a 200-room ultra-modern hostel complex. The project, equipped with modern amenities, is designed to provide students with a safe, comfortable, and conducive living environment that complements their academic journey.

Commending the foresight of the University’s management, the Oluwo noted that such investments in student welfare reflect Westland University’s vision of building a world-class institution. He described the initiative as a model of development that would not only impact the lives of students but also contribute meaningfully to the growth of Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria, Africa, and the global community at large.

His Majesty pledged his full support for the University, affirming his belief in its mission to combine academic excellence, innovation, and community development. He encouraged the management to remain committed to this transformative vision, assuring that the traditional institution of Iwo Kingdom stands solidly behind Westland’s growth.
