In its continuous effort to expand visibility and strengthen community engagement, the management team of Westland University, Iwo, paid a courtesy visit to Agidigbo 88.7 FM, Ibadan — one of Southwest Nigeria’s leading radio stations — for a live session on the ongoing 2025/2026 admission exercise.
The visit, which was warmly hosted by the station’s founder, Mr. Oriyomi Hamzat, provided a platform for the University to share its vision, achievements, and the wide range of accredited programs available for admission.
During the interactive session, the University management discussed Westland’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and character development, while inviting qualified candidates across the region to apply and write the institution’s Post-UTME Examination as part of the admission process.
In a remarkable gesture of support, Agidigbo FM pledged to serve as a media partner in amplifying Westland University’s message of quality education and continuous development. The collaboration aims to enhance public awareness and ensure that more students and parents across the Southwest gain accurate information about the University’s programs and opportunities.
The management described the partnership as a strategic step toward bringing the vision of Westland closer to the people — ensuring that access to higher education is both visible and accessible through trusted media platforms.
“We’re excited to work hand-in-hand with Agidigbo FM to tell our story — one of opportunity, growth, and academic excellence,” said a member of the University management team.
This partnership marks another major stride in Westland University’s public engagement efforts, bridging academia and media to inspire the next generation of leaders.
